spot.comp 0 Posted September 12, 2014 Hello, I'm having a GV-800 PC Card working with software 8.5.6.0. I enable all necessary setting to be able to watch the cameras remotely: make sure I have ports 8866, 5511, 8554, 1080 (instead of default port 80 duo to conflict with other computer) forwarding configurations correctly and make sure they are all visible on www.canyouseeme.org , enable JPG etc. I have no problem watching the camera remotely single and multiview from any PC . The problem starting when I'm trying to watch it on my Samsung Galaxy S3 GT-9300, Android 4.1.2 I'm entering all the correct parameters (IP, port, User & password) I get black screen for short time and then 'cannot connect'. If I open the browser on my smartphone and entering the IP as I do on a PC, I can watch it like on a desktop. The problem is it's in 10 sec delay, only one camera at the time and very cumbersome. I also try it with "IP Cam Viewer Basic" and couldn’t connect the cameras. On an iPhone using iOS 7.1.4 it works perfectly! Anyone have an idea?
gb5102 0 Posted September 12, 2014 GV-AView requires port 4550(command port) even though it is not documented in the manual... Also, did you change the HTTP port in the GV-DVR software or ar you just using port forwarding to 'translate' the port? (for example: external port 1080 translated to internal port 80) You need to change the port on the DVR so the software is 'aware' of the alternate port
spot.comp 0 Posted September 14, 2014 Port 4550 was enable. I just check again and it visible. About port 1080, I change it in the software (under webcam server) to 1080, didn't really understand the different between 'port forwarding' and 'translate'. Support_GeovisionUSA 0 Posted September 20, 2014 hello, To setup GV-iview or Aview, on the software, 1. please go to the Network button > webcam server. under the Server tab make sure the Run GeoHTTP Server option is checkmarked. 2. make sure the Mobile tab is checkmarked too. and also 3. make sure under the JPG tab that the Create JPEG/GIF file(s) option is checkmarked, then click OK so that the word Web shows up in the blue bar to the right of the software. and then make sure that your ports (for live view) are open. http: 80 command: 4550 DATA: 5550 Mobile: 8866 and 5552, 5511 (for playback) are open if you intend to do remote viewing and playback
