ipcamsleb 0 Posted September 15, 2014 I have a DS7732NI-SP with 26 cameras, 12 of which are connected to POE directly and the rest are behind 2 switches. The problem is that the NVR can only see 16 cameras. For the ones behind the switch i can do custom adding and manually add the ip and it will work so as long as the camera numbers are 16. Cameras 17 and above will give a "Network unreachable" error. If anyone has any input. Thanks. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

You would not connect a Switch to a poe port on the back of the NVR, it will only pull one camera, you would plug a ethernet cable from the switch to the Lan1 on the back of the NVR, and then try to import your cameras Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
