everton 0 Posted October 27, 2014 just installed a Qsee systwm (model Qsee 308) in August. Everything was working fine until a few weeks ago constantly getting "NO DISC" error. After rebooting the system the error was cleared, however few days after, the error returned. Replaced the hard drive, worked for a few days then same thing. I even installed a cooling fan believing that it was overheating but the problem still there. Any help?
john2171 0 Posted November 19, 2014 I have experienced the same exact thing. I have had the unit about six months and it started this about two months ago. I was thinking it was the drive but you replaced it and the problem still persisted. Sounds like it could be a software or hardware issue dealing with the operating board. I have searched the Q-see support pages but have not found a similar issue. I will try and contact them and will post back when I do.
the toss 0 Posted November 19, 2014 Don't forget that CCTV HDDs are designed to run 24/7. Some computer HDD are not up to that.
