Outdoor POE Bullet Camera

Hey Everyone,

 

I am new and I tried searching this topic but I did not clear a find answer.

 

We are in the process of setting up a home security system. We would like to install five outdoor POE bullet cameras. Our budget is about $200-$250 a camera. Can you please recommend a good camera that you have experience with?

 

I have already purchases this switch: Eagle Eye 9 Port Switch (8 Port POE + 1 Uplink) 10/100 Ethernet

I recommend you to use Hikvision or Dahua POE cameras, most of them under your budgets, you can select some bullet and turret type for installing.

 

But besides cameras, you require a NVR or PC for storage, I recommend you to buy a NVR too for 7/24 recording.

I use a camera for my own security, I bought it with DSI securite. Very simple to install and use. I thought that any one can use a security camera front of his house. http://www.dcisecurite.com/en/products.html

I agree. I have Dahua and Hikvision cameras and they are fine. It is not easy to set up the correct motion detection but once you done it it is OK
