GV-1480B & FE2301 with Blue Iris?

Recommended Posts

Hi. I have a currently running system in my business. I have a GV-1480B card using 14 analog cameras, 2 FE2301 Fish Eye Cameras and 1 CB220 camera which I don't really care about. I want to add 6 Hikvision 2032 IP cameras and don't really want to spend a ton of money for the privilege of using Geovision Software. So here are my questions:

Can I use the GV-1480B for my analog cameras with Blue Iris? Can I use the FW2301s with Blue Iris? What about the CB 220? I already downloaded a demo version on a test PC just for IP and was unable to connect to the FE2301. (I don't want to mess with my security PC until I am sure it will work) I could successfully connect to my test 2032. I am certain my username/password/port numbers are correct.

Thanks for the help.

Hi Azaffiro,

Too bad to hear that you are thinking to swtich to blue Iris.

To integrate GV camera to blue iris, the best way is to contact their customer service regarding how to add 3rd party camera to their system.

All of GV camera support ONVIF, PSIA and RTSP.

You can find the RTSP command of GV camera here.

If you are concerned about the pricing of our cameras, we actually have economic model- "target series camera" which the price is very good.
