joseph.chen0312 0 Posted November 6, 2014 Hello Folks, I wondering have you experience to equip CVI, TVI or AHD DVR at Hybrid and/or Tribrid mode? Particularly in HD Analog + SD camera? Because we find out the SD camera display is not well as on pure SD DVR? If you do is there any methods to shoot this annoy issue? Appreciate any comments, in advance. SunnyKim 2 Posted November 6, 2014 Can you please identify the decoder chipset for SD employed on your hybrid DVR? For cost down, they may be using a cheap video decoder.
Don Stephens 0 Posted November 6, 2014 I've never experienced anything like that with the Tribrid/Hybrid models, and that's with a whole range of cameras from various manufacturers. I'm also curious to know what kind of equipment is giving you the issue.
SunnyKim 2 Posted November 7, 2014 Don, As we know, there are not many alternatives to send raw-video(not compressed) data over a long cable. HD-SDI is still expensive. And there are recently coming HD-CVI/TVI/AHD,etc -proprietary schemes around, non compatible each other. Hybrid can support input of HD(either one of 4 kinds above) + SD (analog). Tribrid DVR would support input of HD(either two of 4 kinds above) +SD (analog). That's all my guess.
