Toetsje 0 Posted November 12, 2014 Hi! I've bought a Hikvision DS-7604NI-SE DVR (FW2.3.7) and a Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I camera. I'm able to record a continuous video stream or clips based on motion detection. However, I would like to record continuously AND have an indication when motion has been detected. Is this possible? Searching for events within a continuous stream is not workable (takes ages). I'm afraid that the system might not detect some motion events and therefore I don't want to rely on the motion based clips only.

Toetsje 0 Posted November 12, 2014 Mmm, that's a pity. I was able to do this with the old fashioned Chinese recorder so I expected more or less the same functionality.
FIERCE4203 0 Posted December 7, 2014 You can record 24*7 and also make a motion event at same time. Its all under record settings and motion within nvr not cam. Easiest way is do it from ip address of nvr.
