IP camera problem

Hi

 

I just installed a Flir Digimerge NVR DNR300 series with (6) 2.1 MP IP cameras and am having a problem with one of the cameras. All cameras were working and I tried to change a setting on one of the cameras. Attempted to change the bitrate from 6144 kbps to 8192 kbps on this particular camera and once I did that, the camera froze up and went black. Now I am not able to access the camera to change the configuration settings. The NVR recognizes the camera and it gets an IP address but under the status it shows that the camera is unavailable or not recognized. Also, the NVR intermittently recognizes then doesn't recognize the camera. The LED channel display that shows if the camera is connected flashes on and off. All other channels are ok.

Tried rebooting the NVR multiple times and also connecting the camera to different channels with no success.

 

Could changing a setting like this cause the camera to act like this? Or is it possible that the camera is defective?
