hkg 0 Posted November 17, 2014 Hello, We have a playschool running in our home town, wherein we have 8 analog cameras and 1 DVR using. Now we are requested to provide web based access to children parents to view them remotely. Unfortunately we have only 1Mbps connection which will not let not more than 2-3 parents to view remotely. A solution, we would request is to stream the videos from DVR to a streaming server (We have one server at softlayer) and subsquently parents can see it from the server. We would like to know a possible solution for this. We are using DVR model CP-UAR-0801Q1-H which shows the RTSP, HTTP protocols are supported. In the streaming server, we already installed Red5 streaming server. Please let me know how we can able to 1. Stream from DVR to Red5 server (which protocol can be used better) 2. how to view different channels (I have 8 cameras) Any help will be much appreciated. aibudo 0 Posted November 20, 2014 The easiest is to just have the playschool have their internet upload speed increased.
