Guest Posted November 4, 2003 Anyone know of a completely wireless camera for outdoor use? I'm looking for something battery operated, and charged by a photo voltaic panel.

rory 0 Posted November 13, 2003 Anyone know of a completely wireless camera for outdoor use? I'm looking for something battery operated, and charged by a photo voltaic panel. Pretty expensive, but some real good wireless day/night products. http://www.extremecctv.com/mecc.cfm
DavidR 0 Posted January 8, 2004 There are several wireless outdoor network cameras, but all of them require AC power., as far as I know.
xmichael 0 Posted July 3, 2004 Have you considered a cheap indoor wireless camera and a outdoor hood? It's definately not perfect, but a good way to get you under the $300 mark. Do some googling, there are some great wireless cameras in the $200 range, and heated / moisture tight hoods can be had for for around $100. Mike
rory 0 Posted September 5, 2018 I gave up on wireless cameras, for now, will sell the wireless video transmitters with high DB antennas, but other than that way too much stress involved, id rather run the wire Ofcourse the majority of homes here are concrete, with block inner walls, steel etc, and the older homes have gakvanized plumbing and electrical pipes running all through the house, and also, AC insulation stops the signal also. Not many homes with sheet rock or wood around here. Rory
