how to convert cctv h.264 to dvd or avi to watch on dvd

tried quite a few programs that are free but none work...they dont seem to recognize the file...any help i would be extreamly thankfull.

or is this possible ??? this is so i can give video to niegbour, so she can see people trying to break into her car, that my system is catching.

Your DVR should have a file format option when you save footage to an external device.

This is a good one, i use it all the time

 

Also what kind of DVR are you using just incase that convert doesn't work so i can find a more compatible one for that DVR.
