securitymonster 0 Posted February 18, 2006 If you already have a system in place, the easiest is to run the video out feed into a Video Web Server. Do you have a router? I often times just Port Forward off the router, this is usually a very quick setup.
sachinsharma2517 0 Posted April 20, 2006 Hi, I am facing a unique problem. I am unable to view my CCTV remotely ( its a ADATA CCTV) I have Dlink router. The CCTV works on port no. 8000. So I have opened the port 8000 through the router for the DVR IP address i.e 192.168.1.110. I am able to view the DVR locally but unable to view it remotely. Have also triggered the port no. 80 to 8000 but no luck. Please suggest and so is my customer. Regards, Sachin
kg6mti 0 Posted April 20, 2006 You do relize that when you access the system remtely that you do not use the 192.168.1.110 IP address, right? You need to know the IP address of your Internet connection. The URL would look something like this: http://63.101.104.75:8000 You can find the Internet IP address of your router by logging into the router and checking the status page of the router. Good Luck!
