survtech 0 Posted November 30, 2014 Passive-passive is good for up to ~1,000 feet. Active-passive (either end) is good for up to ~2,000 to ~3,000 feet. I would use a passive balun at the camera end and an active receiver at the head end. Typical passive baluns are rated down to -10 degrees Celsius (-30 degrees Fahrenheit).
