jeromephone 6 Posted December 5, 2014 I have a potential customer who has some analog cameras all ready installed and wants to add some hd Ip cameras. I have looked at a lot of systems online and just wonder what anyone has used that worked. I have looked at Speco and seen others advertised. I suppose the other option is to get encoders and dump the signal into a NVR
abdelm01 0 Posted December 5, 2014 No need to get two different devices, how many Analog Cameras does he want to keep. I have tried Hikvisions Hybrid and so far it is pretty good. http://www.hikvision.com/en/us/Products_show.asp?id=6735
Don Stephens 0 Posted December 5, 2014 Dahua's hybrids work very well, but you need to pay close attention to their "incoming bandwidth" capabilities and processing power. I've found that even the biggest and best models can only handle about 4-6 IP cameras.
triski 0 Posted January 14, 2015 the wavestore NVRs are good at this.. The NVR is IP based, the DVR has a stretch card which will accept it.
