Retired Bob 0 Posted December 7, 2014 I have recently purchased a CCTV System for the outside of my property and I am currently trying to understand its full set up. I have come across a Section within Settings / Channel / Tampering Alarm and I am not quite sure its full meaning. Could someone enlighten me please? ssnapier 0 Posted December 10, 2014 The cameras may have a tamper switch on the dome or housing. I am just guessing on this, the other thing is that you may have alarm inputs for things like door sensors or motion sensor. That is a pretty typical option on most DVR's, because you can use a sensor input as a trigger to start recording. My bet is that those are the alarm inputs, and the software was written by a guy who is just learning English (also quite common). A screenshot of what you are dealing with would be helpful.
