please help me with my cctv system

I have aSAMSUNG DVR it only accept samsung cameras, if i connect other camerams brand the Samsung dvr would not accept them,it view distracted pictures ,

dvr only accept Samsung CAMERAS can any one tell me why.

Hi. It's a standard analog system and will take any standard camera

 

But you have to use a camera for your region PAL OR NTSC

But wrong one and that camera will show distorted image

DOES THIS MEAN ONLY NTSC CAMERA ONLY WILL WORK WITH THIS DVR,BECAUSE IF I USE OTHER BRAND THAN SAMSUNG WOULD NOT WORK ,WHAT DOES THIS MEAN ,WHAT KIND OF CAMERA DO I HAVE TO BUY ,PAL OR NTSC.

I HAVE BOUGT THIS DVR FROM U.S.A .

I HAVE OTHER BRAND DVR WHICH CAN ACCEPT ANY CAMERA BRAND.

THE QUESTION IS WHAT KIND OF CAMERA SYSTEM WILL BE ACCEPTED BY THIS SAMSUNG DVR MODEL.

USA YOU NEED NTSC is in the states you can't add pal to it

the problem is that i live in the middle east wich PAL is in use ,but unfortunitly i order Samsung DVR through ebay ,but the sent me Samsung DVR with 4 camera samsung brand in NTSC system which is in use in USA ,

so please confirm do i have to only buy NTSC camera system.

if that's the case, you can find a lot of cameras support both NTSC and PAL

Just go back to ebay and find NTCS cameras, it's not hard

I think first you need to confirm the cameras are Analog signal, for PAL / NTSC format most of DVR signal are switchable.

 

So check your camera format, original camera is analog, don't buy HDCVI camera/ HD-TVI Camera, even though AHD Camera you also need to convert to 960H model then it can work with your DVR.
