vmax 0 Posted December 14, 2014 http://www.dahuasecurity.com/news/on-commercial-espionage-suspect-caught-in-dahua-144.html Hikvison was trying to steal Dahua's HDCVI solution and been caught red handed. certainly Hikvision don't have enough confidence of their own technology. This incident has gone viral. Dahua demand answer from government level (Hikvision is government funded company). Have to see how this incident gonna influence the future competition of those two CCTV giants.

ssmith10pn 0 Posted December 14, 2014 Maybe they need to hire an English Major to edit their press releases. That looked like a third grader wrote it.

buellwinkle 0 Posted December 15, 2014 Actually the contrary, another article says the suspect had images from another Hangzhou-based manufacturer. There's only two in that city I'm aware of, Hik and Dahua, so maybe both were compromised, although Dahua must be better because they were able to catch the guy with their technology, LOL. I think it must have been Mobotix trying to learn how to make cameras.
