burchis 0 Posted December 19, 2014 I have 8 cameras on my DVR8-3200 system which is an update from my older DVR4-1200. I am unable to find the right combination of sensitivity settings that will properly detect motion at night. All works well in daylight but as the sun goes down the system wants to record all night long. I realize that the brightness, contrast, and hue along with camera sensitivity all play a part but I can not find the right formula. Can anyone give any advise to my issue? Billy_ICU 0 Posted December 20, 2014 I had a mix of older and newer cameras. The older cameras would record all night. Try buying one new camera and see if that does the trick. (Then consider buying more or whatever.)
burchis 0 Posted December 20, 2014 My setup is a combination of old and new cameras. I used to have a Swann DVR4-1200 that came with 4 cameras. That system worked great. The motion sensing worked good both in day and night. I wanted to add more cameras so bought the DVR8-3200. It came with 4 new cameras and I kept the 4 cameras from the DVR4-1200.
