elsebas29 0 Posted December 20, 2014 Hello, I have recently set up a camera inmy house and I noticed that in the night appears a blue spot on my image, I already cleaned the lens but it didn't do much. Here is an image of the spot day/night. Could be that some infrareds are broken or something? Boogieman 1 Posted December 20, 2014 That camera is not even going into night mode...its got nothing to do with the leds... something else is wrong...regardless, why is the camera pointing at the wall... Don Stephens 0 Posted December 20, 2014 Hand to God, I can't even tell what I'm looking at. Is the image rotated 90 degrees? Are you referring to the splotch on the left of the image to the right? Is there any possibility of a clearer image? I don't expect you to magically make your cameras a better resolution, but even the time-stamp is hard to make out. Can you please take a look at these and see which one might line up right with what you have? Don Stephens 0 Posted December 20, 2014 I know you mentioned you cleaned the lens, but does that include both ends of it or just the front? On a number of occasions, I've found smudges and/or defects on the back end of the lens pressed up against the image sensor. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
elsebas29 0 Posted December 22, 2014 I've been busy so that's why it took me so long to post an answer here, so I found the problem and feel a bit dumb xD, apparently that blue spot was a shadow -_-, I moved the camera and the spot stayed still, it wasn't moving as I moved the camera, so that was all the problem xD. To me that 'spot' looks like a camera with a bracket - It could be reflecting off something to make a slight shadow.
