giubas02 0 Posted December 20, 2014 I have 12 analog cameras connected in this way. 8 cameras on a DVR and 4 on another DVR. I have a 500 kbit/s ADSL upload. On the internet I can see satisfactorily streaming 2 dvr but only separately, if the browser will open 2 dvr slows everything. I lowered the quality of the channels and the resolution but nothing changes. thank you
centralalarms 0 Posted January 4, 2015 I am sorry to tell you but you will need faster internet upload speeds. There is no getting around this.
Numb-nuts 1 Posted January 5, 2015 Its all in the upload speed and service providers are more concentrated on their download speeds as thats what sells. YEP it PROBABLY is an 'upload speed' issue, but you could also try viewing client software using second stream rather than main stream and change the second stream settings to capped bit rate (CBR) rather than Variable bit rate (VBR). This should help just a little.
kevindx 0 Posted January 5, 2015 If its Dahua or Hikvision there must be sub-stream or Extra-stream. Will give you little less clarity. Also what slows down ? PC browser or Speed ? -If its speed then you got to increase uploading speed near DVR and Downloading speed of your mobile or PC. What speed does it show in speedtest.net ?
