erict@airweld.net 0 Posted February 23, 2006 Hello....I have a Digimerge VCD-316 in two seperate locations. I have configured nat translations in my cisco router and have an access list. I beleive I am fowarding the ports correctly but for some reason I cannot connect remotely. Here is my nat translations: ip nat inside source static udp 192.168.5.110 11000 66.251.98.182 11000 extendable ip nat inside source static tcp 192.168.5.110 8000 66.251.98.182 8000 extendable ip nat inside source static udp 192.168.7.110 11000 66.251.104.162 11000 extendable ip nat inside source static tcp 192.168.7.110 8000 66.251.104.162 8000 extendable. I was told that these are the port fowards from Digimerge: TCP Ports 7000 (login port) 8000 -> 8001 (live video port) 9000 -> 9001 (remote playback port) 2000 (remote config/web port) UDP Ports 11000 (data synchronization port) However, they really only give support for linksys routers. Can someone help?
Marcusl 0 Posted February 28, 2006 What kind of cisco router are you using? I would setup an access list and do all my port forwarding that way, seems a little more self explanatory... Does your network have a firewall or just a router? -Marcus
schwazche 0 Posted February 6, 2007 Hi erict. I would suggest you edit your original post so "less desirables" won't know your public IP address. PM or email me and I'll help you with your access control list. As it is right now you need some additional statements but that information would be best discussed discreetly. schwazche
schwazche 0 Posted February 6, 2007 Just realized the age of the original post....I work for Cisco and am plagued with A.D.D. Sometimes, I just need to relax and pay a bit more attention before reacting.... Sorry....
