resetcctv 0 Posted January 12, 2015 Hello, I bought 1 year ago a CCTV with 4 700tvl 1tb hdd, the problem is that some days ago i put a password, and now i can't recover it, so I can't access to control panel. I opened the CCTV, I removed the button battery, however the password dont reset. I sent a private message to seller, but they say that if i want to recover password i have to ship my cctv to their direction, I would prefer to know if exist any method to recover password without needed to send the cctv to dealer. This is the CCTV http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4-x-700-TVL-Sony-Effio-CCD-Indoor-Dome-Camera-Full-Package-4-H264-DVR-CCTV-Kits-/190872036862?ssPageName=ADME:L:OC:ES:3160

resetcctv 0 Posted January 14, 2015 hello, thanks for reply, i contacted via email asking if could be possible saying me what to do to restart password, but they say that i must to ship them, and they will restart it after a payment of 20£ (25usd). Im from Spain, shipping costs to UK are aproximately 30-35 usd, + 25 usd i have to pay them are aproximately 60 usd, for this price i could buy another new. I am happy with product and Domar Solutions have replied me very quickly all my messages, but i dont like to be obliged to ship my dvr them Why they dont explain me what i could do to restart password? Lot of cctvs have methods to recovery password, as keygens, master codes, or special codes for every day, however, for this Doma'rs DVR, i have to ship them. I thing thats its not necessary to ship them if exist fast methods as keygens or mastercodes, however, i haden't found the real manufacturer of this dvr. It would be better if they explained me what I could to do to recover password or what they will do to solve this problem.
Numb-nuts 1 Posted January 15, 2015 Whats your alternative, not using the DVR? I think they are being a little bit mean to charge you and to make you return it to them but then some companies only understand PROFIT. WELL THIS SEEMS TO BE AN INDICATION WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THAT PARTICULAR BARGAIN BUCKET=SHOP
panther 0 Posted August 27, 2015 Basically, every warranty policy concerns faults and malfunctions that results of production or the operation of the device. You can make a claim if you meet all the terms and conditions of the guarantee or warranty. If you buy a TV and you open the case and cut the wires it is not the manufacturer or the dealers responsibility to repair it, however they gonna do it, but not for free.
