chris63220 0 Posted January 13, 2015 So I'm moving home and the place has indoor stairs. I'm wanting to mount one of my bullet cameras in there - The only problem is, I would like to cover people walking from floor 1 - 2 and from floor 2 - 1 (see picture for what he stairs look like) My cable is just the siamese cable that comes with the eBay systems (don't judge, it's been working great for the past 3 years) Any help would be good

I personally hate them, but if you want to run it, that's your choice. Your hardest challenge is running the wiring for this. High up in the corner will prevent vandalism or theft, but I would definitely go away from the bullet cams for easy to reach locations. If it's high enough then you'll be okay. chris63220 0 Posted January 14, 2015 I should mention this is my own home - Not worried about vandalism.. I'm just going to mount the camera then run the cable so it's exposed. I can't drill huge holes because we rent. Just after a rough idea of where would be an okay place to put it.
thewireguys 3 Posted January 14, 2015 We have done installs like this for schools where we install Avigilon 2MP Micro dome cameras high on the wall where the pictures are hanging. Set the camera in corridor format and we get both sets of stairs and landings.
