hikvision DVR with zicom cameras

Hey guys

I have 2 offices...at the 1st one I have all hikvision cameras and a hikvision DVR with ivms on my mobile.

For my 2nd office I'm planning to install the normal zicom bullet cameras and thought of keeping a hikvision DVR instead of zicom as I can see all cams of office 1&2 on my mobile\tablet through ivms all on one screen.

By putting up zicom cameras and a hikvsion dvr., does the clearity change or it shouldnt be a problem or will it be good to put zicom cameras with a zicom DVR.

If those zicom cameras are analog, you can do it, sure!

Yeah they are normal analog Sony CCD cameras... Please help

If it is analog, you don't need help. Just replace the zicom DVR with a Hikvision DVR, or any other DVR that you like.

I wanted to know whether if I change the DVR brand , like I put zicom cameras and hikvision DVR..will the clarity change or will it be the same of zicom cameras with zicom dvr

Its doesn't depend on brand.

 

What is the TVL of your Zicom camera?

Is you Hikvision DVR recording in D1 or has D1 resolution ?

 

As far as i know will not see much difference, as a local CCTV installer a Demo and see it yourself before buying.
