Hi great forum with some excellent info

 

Has anyone tested microsofts retail managment system with geovision pos

or does anyone know if it is compatible.

All geo needs for the video overlay is access to the serial data passed between the POS and it's reciept printer.

 

Or were you asking about actually installing the card in one?

As long as its putting out Ascii or Ansi, all you will need is a serial cable if your running from MSPOS PC to DVR PC. If your putting the card in the MS POS PC than you may have to do a little config..I'll wait until you answer collinsr question.

No the geovision card is going into a different computer. ill get a serial cable and give it a try
