Jamess 0 Posted January 16, 2015 We have a AVtech 674 DVR with one camera, like this one: http://henrys.co.uk/cctv/cctvcolourircameras.htm The camera image has been flickering a lot recently with horizontal lines scrolling up the screen so it needs replacing. Should we get another one the same or is there a slightly better camera we can get to improve the quality of the image in low light? Most of the more expensive ones on the henrys website just seem to be for vandal proof or outdoor applications, neither of which are relevant to us. It will be used to record 24/7 for 30 days, preferably with detail good enough for facial recognition. Any suggestions? thanks James

the toss 0 Posted January 23, 2015 If your MAIN consideration is low light performance then go for a black/white camera. The more you pay the better will be the results. Get one with a half inch sensor if you can.
