SteveK 0 Posted January 20, 2015 I have PTZ cameras along with five of stationary on the same DVR. No problems with controlling the first. I assume that this has to do with the defualt address is 001. The 2nd, however, I cannot change the address for. Camera: PTX-LX700 12x DVR: Generic Chinese The 2nd cam is on channel 2. From the DVR I changed the address to 2. Yet when I power cycle The initial info shows that it is still oo1. I tried to goto "Iris Open" and "Preset 95" but the menu does not come up. IS have checked the wiring but the seems to be no communication with the camera. Any Ideas would be appreciated Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Securame 0 Posted January 20, 2015 The fact that you change the ID on the DVR does not change it on the camera. You need to change the ID on the camera first; and then configure your DVR to send the commands to the ID you are using. The menu won't come up if you are sending the commands to ID 2, but you have not first changed the camera's ID from 1 to 2. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
