Recommended Posts

hi i was thinking of getting the hikvision 2332 but then i thought i'm just mostly going to monitor from phones when i'm away.i looked for a lower price camera and found the hikvision 1103.i dont think i need 1080p since i'm going to be mostly monitering area from phones. should the 1103 be fine? how is the nightvision on the 1103? i will be putting this under a roof outside in front. i dont need audio.i will be buying the poe injector once i figure out what to do.

2332 is $89 and 1013 is $55 from aliexpress.

The nightvision/low light will actually be much better on the 1mp camera than the 3mp camera...The only issue with the dome is it can reflect ir if improperly mounted causing a foggy image..they make the turret in a 1.3mp version 2312...

Are you not planing on recording the camera?

are the domes suppose to be older models or something?

No...its a different design...also note that the domes cannot be wall mounted (without a special mount) because the lens is only two axis...if you plan on wall mounting it get the turret...

These are all manual adjustment camera...motorized ptz cameras are WAY more expensive.

interesting.will a poe injector support more than 100 feet of wiring?
It should.
correct me if im wrong.ip cam ethernet cable goes into the "power+ data" out.ethernet cable from "data in" goes to my home router?
That is correct. Power + data to camera, data to router.
