saasfaan 0 Posted January 27, 2015 Hello guys Wanted to know whether I can use my laptop as a TV or monitor screen by connecting mY DVR to my laptop via a HDMI cable. Securame 0 Posted January 28, 2015 You can't. The HDMI connection on your laptop is a HDMI *output*, not an input. It is for connecting the laptop to a TV/monitor, not for connecting something to the laptop, and using it as a monitor. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
