Hikvision DS-2CD3332 Cannot connect/administrate

Recommended Posts

Hello folks,

I had a functioning turret on I.P. 192.168.1.250 under standard port 8000. I wanted to configure it to outside world viewable so I configured in the camera web interface to port 7400. Camera rebooted and has been non-viewable/non-connecting since then.

I'm running POE and unpugged/plugged camera multiple times.

Camera after approx 1 minute into startup shows on SADP with the network stats above. After a short bit, the camera disappears from SADP. During visable in SADP, I attempt to save the settings with the orginal port of 8000 but I continue to meet with configuration failed.

As this camera does not have a visable reset, can anyone steer me in the right direction to gain access to it once again?

Thanks to all

The web interface "http" is not the same as the media port 8000...

if you changed the http port you need to log into your camera differentlly ipaddres:port so for you 192.168.1.250:7400

In the future you dont need to change the http port...you can just use external port 7400 to internal port 80..

In fact if you are using the hikvision app you only need to port forward the media port 8000...

Unfortunately, it appears that the IP 192.168.1.250:7400 remains unreachable. I tried connecting via the https as well and port 443. Still no ability to connect to device.

Ok, so it appears I'm a step closer to being up and running after using TFTP. I am now able to see the camera in SADP. The default IP info has been applied and the software appears to be allowing me to make modifications.

I think I may be finding incorrect firmware though. If anyone can steer me in the right direction camera box is detailed as follow:

SC2CD3332-I

V5.2.3_141024

I ensured that I shut down TFTP, returned PC to network. Still unable to view camera but at least a step closer.

Thanks for any info available.

Still appear to be locked out of the camera. Using TFTP, I am able to load messages but the last line in the message will read "date-time" Start file transmitting[C:\HIK\digicap.dav]

I'm guessing it may be due to an incorrect firmware. previous lines show "Connect Client success" and then the "Start file transmitting" message multiple times.

Camera shows in SADP with defaults and continues to reset to defaults when I attempt to change the I.P. address.

Apologies on the multi submissions, still trying to figure this out and provide as much useful info for anyone who may be able to assist.

Thanks,
