sa greed 0 Posted February 2, 2015 I currently have the set up below and I am pretty dissatisfied with the level of clarity I can see on playback. I have "upped" the level in which it records to get the best possible video recorded but still I want better. Night viewing is really bad. One of my neighbors car was hit in the street and I told him I would see what kinda car it was. I couldn't even tell if it was a sedan or 2 door! There's got to be something better. I at least had them install the best lines they had so I can swap out as I needed. What would you recommend for high quality video and playback? I was slightly upset at the time that they put one of the cameras under the roofline on the second story which makes the camera far away giving it a more tough time capturing video. They said it was for weather purposes. Anyone have any recommendations? 1) 4-Channel 960H H.264 Security DVR with HDMI Out View and record 960H high-resolution video with sharp, detailed images 960H high-resolution live viewing and recording (30% more detail than standard D1 DVRs) H.264 video compression Built-in motion detection and scheduled recording VGA, BNC, and HDMI outputs Two-way audio streaming Easy video offloading via network and USB Remote viewing and remote configuration Free iOS/Android app available Built-in bandwidth throttle to improve remote viewing over low bandwidth connections Choose your hard drive (Supports up to 4TB) Discount 1) Security Grade Video Storage Hard Drive - 1TB 4) 700 TVL Day/Night 65' IR Outdoor Black Turret Dome Camera CD700B 1/3 Sony CCD image sensor 3.6 mm lens 700 TV lines of resolution Digital day/night improves the camera’s low light sensitivity 65' IR range IP66 weather rated BNC analog video output Operates on 12 Vdc @ 320 mA Built-in OSD 1) Waterproof Pre-Amplified Microphone 1) 4 Camera Power Supply - 12 Vdc 4Amp 12 Volt UL Listed •UL-listed •1/2 in and 3/4 in combination knockouts •AC/DC power LED indicator •Made in the USA 1) 8-Out Surge Protector w/ phone protection 5) Parts, Cables, Connectors, Boxes, Etc cable #1 cable #2 cable #3 cable #4 cable #5 Microphone
tomcctv 190 Posted February 2, 2015 Hi. 2 things stand out from your post MADE IN USA. other is 960h recorder yet only using 700tvl cameras. At least change your most needed cameras to 960h Also cable ..... Did you buy the cheap kits
sa greed 0 Posted February 2, 2015 No, I made sure to get really good cables, they are very thick and from what I was told the best they had. I wanted to make sure of that as I know they are the constant in an install. Is that the best video I can get because of the DVR? In other words. Higher would be overkill because of what I am recording it off of? I just want the best possible playback possible. (say within $100 to 150 a camera) Thanks for the reply!
