cascade shadows!!

Hi

I have the following problem in a video distribution installation. I am sending RGB video over utp ( Cat7 STP to be exact) with a krammer (pico tools) tranceiver. It is like 90 meters away the display from the source.

At the display I can see what we call ... cascade shadows ... in the image, which is making the image blurry

 

any suggestion on how to eliminate this problem??

Try this simple trick: use passive video baluns for transmit/receive each R G B channles (2 wires for R, 2 for G, 2 for B) and use the last pair to transmit the H and V sync. This might surprise you and give you clear image at 90m.
