trooper 0 Posted February 5, 2015 Hi all, im a real newbie and very amature cctv user, and first post for me. I read someone here taking still pics of 2048 vs 1080. He said, and showed little difference. I run my Hikvision 3mp cameras on 2048 for the wider view. I also dont see any difference between 2048 vs 1080 apart from the wider view. My question is, is this because my monitor is only up to a certain resolution? If I bought a UHD LED TV would 2048 show up better resolution than 1080?
