trooper 0 Posted February 7, 2015 Hi, all I am running 3mp Hikvision @ 2048x1536 resolution. BUT my tv screen is only a 720p resolution. I see little variance between setting the cameras from 720, 1080, 2048 except for the wide angle of 2048. Is this because i am viewing it through a 720p monitor/tv? Securame 0 Posted February 7, 2015 Of course, if your monitor is 1280x720 you will not see any difference on image quality, unless you zoom in on the camera. But keep in mind that even if you see the images at 720p, if you record at a higher resolution, the better quality WILL be on ¡the recordings if you ever need it.
