dovberry 0 Posted February 10, 2015 hi everyone, newbie here! I was wondering if anyone could provide some insight regarding a problem i am having with my newly purchased Samsung system. I have attempted to connect the DVR to my router (Draytek vigor 2710) via a lan cable, however, the samsung system fails to connect and implies there is something amiss with the lan connection. I have tried numerous new patch cables with no success. The annoying thing is that when the system was first installed and a lan cable was inserted in to the port, the connection lights would come on. Could there be an issue with the router regarding said lack of connectivity? Any information would be greatly appreciated as i am really out of my depth trying to solve this problem! jazzar 0 Posted February 12, 2015 have you set up a static ip address on the dvr and set up the port information for port forwarding as shown from page 60+ in the manual "network settings". Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
