Sorry for bumping an oldish thread but I have a Chinese 2cd2232 cam running 5.2.5 multilanguage but without any Chinese chars on the screen. If you could use the IEfile and davinci, I'll upload them for you.

 

I looked at your file, from a glance, something in the login script is commented, mine isn't

So mine must be done differently. Might be worth looking into.

 

Do you have an unmodified 5.2.5 chinese IEfile and davinci?

I would like to compare.
