haze4330 0 Posted February 15, 2015 Hi Guys, really need some help. I have currently 2 HIkvision 2cd-2132 cameras running. The oldest I've upgraded to 5.2.3 through the IVMS4200 software. The other I tried but it bricked during the process. I'm able to ping it on 192.0.0.64 and apply new (and old) firmware packets. I've tried both 5.2.3, 5.2.0 and 5.1.2 firmware but something is odd when I compare the file structure of the 2 Working has this file/folder structure. drwxr-xr-x 20 root root 1024 Feb 15 09:16 . drwxr-xr-x 20 root root 1024 Feb 15 09:16 .. -rw------- 1 root root 10 Feb 15 09:16 .ash_history drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 3072 Feb 13 23:27 bin drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 232 Jan 31 23:25 config drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 1856 Feb 13 23:05 dav drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 440 Feb 14 21:34 davinci drwxrwxrwt 6 root root 3760 Feb 13 23:27 dev drwxrwxrwx 7 root root 1024 Feb 13 23:27 etc drwxr-xr-x 8 root root 0 Feb 13 23:28 home drwxrwxrwx 3 root root 2048 Feb 13 23:27 lib lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 11 Jul 11 2014 linuxrc -> bin/busybox drwxrwxrwx 13 root root 1024 Feb 13 23:33 mnt drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 1024 Jul 11 2014 opt dr-xr-xr-x 74 root root 0 Jan 1 1970 proc drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 1024 Jul 11 2014 root drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 1024 Jul 11 2014 sbin drwxrwxrwx 2 root root 1024 Jul 11 2014 srv drwxr-xr-x 12 root root 0 Feb 13 23:27 sys drwxrwxrwx 3 root root 1024 Feb 13 23:27 tmp drwxrwxrwx 5 root root 1024 Jul 11 2014 usr drwxrwxrwx 4 root root 1024 Feb 14 10:38 var The not working one has (only) this drwxrwxrwx 2 0 Jul 14 2014 lib drwxrwxrwx 2 0 Jul 14 2014 sbin drwxr-xr-x 2 160 Feb 15 09:20 davinci drwxrwxrwx 3 0 Jul 14 2014 usr drwxr-xr-x 2 0 Feb 15 09:20 home drwxr-xr-x 2 160 Feb 15 09:20 config drwxrwxrwx 2 0 Jul 14 2014 bin drwxr-xr-x 2 1848 Feb 15 09:22 dav drwxr-xr-x 2 1848 Feb 15 09:22 dav_sec drwxrwxrwx 3 0 Jul 14 2014 etc drwxr-xr-x 11 0 Feb 15 09:20 sys -rwxrwxrwx 1 6 Jul 14 2014 VERSION drwxrwxrwx 2 0 Jul 14 2014 tmp drwxrwxrwt 3 3120 Feb 15 09:20 dev dr-xr-xr-x 62 0 Jan 1 1970 proc lrwxrwxrwx 1 9 Jul 14 2014 init -> sbin/init -rw-r--r-- 1 18858119 Feb 15 09:22 digicap.dav drwxrwxrwx 16 0 Feb 15 09:20 .. drwxrwxrwx 16 0 Feb 15 09:20 . I've tried to issue the "upgrade" command, but it does not change anything. Is there a feasible way to get all the stuff from the working cam to the not-working. buellwinkle 0 Posted February 15, 2015 Is this a newer camera that said 5.2.5 on the box and you tried to put older firmware on it? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
kr3bi3 0 Posted September 27, 2015 Hi haze4330 Have the same problem with one of my cameras. Did you solve the issue? Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
kr3bi3 0 Posted September 27, 2015 Solve it by myself Have to use a valid digicap.dav file Upload with TFTP -> TFTP server running + switch-off/switch-on of the camera Once completed, connect with telnet using root and 12345 Once connected -> type upgrade After upgrade -> type reboot Now can access via web and configure the camera Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
