TigerMike 0 Posted February 19, 2015 I have a general mounting question for two cameras I am contemplating on. One is a dome and the other is a bullet. I am looking at 2 megapixel ip cameras from a company that was recommended to me by a friend who had a good experience with them. http://www.cctvcameraworld.com/2-megapixel-weather-proof-ip-camera-with-night-vision-1080p-hd.html http://www.cctvcameraworld.com/2-megapixel-dome-ip-camera-night-vision-indoor-outdoor.html I have a warehouse with rafters where the cameras will be mounted. I thought dome cameras would be easy to mount on the rafters but I have never even handled a camera in my hands. The company rep tells me it will be easier to mount the bullets especially for newbie. Do you guys have any suggestions? Also will I need a junction box with these for those that I mount to the outside wall?

Those domes you have linked to are difficult to install, stay away from those. Here's the junction box for either of these cameras http://www.ebay.com/itm/DAHUA-CCTV-Dome-Bullet-Camera-mounting-Junction-Box-DH-PFA130-/141509693074
