SparkyMyles 0 Posted February 23, 2015 Hi Everyone, I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me out a little bit with a new camera setup we have recently installed. We opted for IP cameras and got a great little system setup. We are having one issue that we know we will be able to fix but just unsure as to how. Our outdoor cameras run perfect throughout the day and then at night the IR comes on and all works well, but come dusk when the sun comes up and as the day gets brighter the cameras begin to whiteout to the point that we have 3 white screens on our 3 external cameras. I know this is just a setting that has not been changed on our part however just so unsure as to what needs changing. I have attached a screenshot of the settings screen, the problem and what the image looks like when we reset the camera, I have also tried the obvious setting of changing the camera to "Outdoor" and it didn't seem to make a difference. Thanks very much!
Boogieman 1 Posted February 24, 2015 Enable the DWDR setting...adjust it at the sunniest time so you see how much you need...too much will ruin your night shots..
SyconsciousAu 0 Posted March 7, 2015 Hi Everyone, I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me out a little bit with a new camera setup we have recently installed. Could it be that your auto iris is getting stuck in the open position at night and not closing by day? I notice your auto iris setting says "close". Is there an auto setting in that menu?
