I can log on but all I see is black

Hi,

 

I have a CCTV camera system with 8 cameras in Europe. I used to be able to log in and see everything real time. Now when I log in it connectes but screen is black. The only way to see anything is is to goback in time for 5 seconds and I am able to play from there or anything int he past for that matter. Thats using my cmputer using Windows XP as the operating system.

 

I installed the same program to watch of another computer with Windows 7 and again I see the black, but I cannot go back in time or replay what is recorded.

 

What am I missing here? Any help would be great and thanks

Thanks for asking...but I do not recall what it is since uts in europe and im here...i do know when I ping the fixed ip i have it is not that great. Could be thr cause. I dont mind seeing 5 sec delay but I can only see it on windows xp computer not on the windows 7 one.
