Neutech 0 Posted March 7, 2015 No...... 4 Channel is 4 channel you will need to upgrade to an 8 channel and sell your 4 channel
the toss 0 Posted March 8, 2015 OR you could run one channel through a switcher which would alternate that channel between two cameras. All the problems of switchers ( missed events etc) would be present for those two cameras. For the price of DVRs now days take Nuetechs advice.
kiqo4284 0 Posted March 8, 2015 Thanks for the Advice Guys, By the way could i ask where to buy or what does the Switcher looks like?
tomcctv 190 Posted March 8, 2015 Upgrade is best but if a switch box will do what you need then I would look for a picture in picture box that way you can have two images in one window but if detect motion that camera will go full screen.
Securame 0 Posted March 8, 2015 Or you could get a "quad". That way you can record up to 4ch in one single channel; but of course, at 1/4 the resolution. Best solution is to get a new 8ch DVR.
