Neutech 0 Posted March 7, 2015 Has DVR got HDMI port? Try connecting to that, some DVR set to 1920x1080 RES as default and unless your VGA monitor has that resolution it wont display but may flash up a message about resolution our of range Funny I was at a call today and had to get HDMI screen from van and hook via HDMI cable to get into the NVR as some clown that installed it went from HDMI to VGA to VGA to composite adaptor then into an analogue modulator to get a image on an old TV
Lorax 0 Posted March 9, 2015 Thanks but I have 2 monitors now, 2 VGA cables and each says video input no signal. I thought one was broken but no.

You may want to ask the supplier/manufacturer for a patch file to reflash the DVR, it seems the firmware on the DVR may be corrupt/faulty
