rruiz 0 Posted March 9, 2015 I have the Vivotek PD8136 IP cam Points I have: + To use PTZ in order to review some specific areas of my warehouse when I am at my desk + To cloud base record when I am not reviewing those areas + I don´t have a dedicated PC for survelliance So Can I buy a PC Software like BlueIrisSoftware in order to control or do things with my camera, like pointing to "Point A" and since the second cloudbase software like CameraFTP is recording, can it record that new point? mkkoskin 0 Posted March 10, 2015 You can use 2 different programs/computers to view/control/record this camera, atleast it does support 2 streams, and probably more than 2 connections at once. Just make sure you get programs compatible with the camera or with a generic ONVIF support. If you only need to control the camera rarely, you could try ONVIF Device Manager (http://sourceforge.net/projects/onvifdm/), free opensource program that allows you to connect to and ptz control your ONVIF cameras.
