Loadstone 0 Posted March 18, 2015 I think this will be a quick yes or no from some more experienced people than my self. I have an analogue to IP encoder which can perform PTZ control over coax using either Pelco-D or Coaxitron. this works fine for directly attached coax but it does not seem to work over fiber with media converters. Does anyone know if there is a media converter that is capable of using Pelco-D or Coaxitron? I know I can use RS422 etc. but I would prefer not to have the additional cabling and complexity. Loadstone 0 Posted March 18, 2015 well you can but its not cheap! FT85011A/FR85011A Pelco offers 1 channel 1 coaxitron MC for about 1800 AUD for a set per camera. I think I will keep the RS422 connection at that price. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
