larryking 0 Posted March 18, 2015 Hey guys, i have a samsung 3mp SND-7084rn camera that after less than 10 minutes becomes very hot to touch. The defog is set to off, IR is off and i have tried with both POE and the dc power adapter provided. It is brand new and at most has had 10 minutes on both power supply types before i have unplugged it as I have become concerned about the heat. I have tried different cables and their length have been roughly 1 meter and 4 meters. I have also tried running the camera by itself in the POE switch and unplugged the two other cameras I am trialing along side one another.
