AlphaQUp 0 Posted March 31, 2015 Hello All. I have an old (and cheap) ZModo 4-channel system (Model D9104BH - SKU# DVR-H9104V). I just recently installed and configured it, and while I can't monitor the cameras through the browser (the built-in webserver seems to use an ancient Active-X module), I got it to work with the IP Cam Viewer app on Android (using its "Scan Camera" function). Everything works pretty well (considering it's a cheap system), except for two out of the four cameras. This is what they show with daylight (the other two identical cameras are perfect): During the night, all four cameras work just fine. I have already purchased higher quality CCTV cables and replaced them. I have also ensured that the cables don't touch any major electrical line. No luck. Any ideas? TIA! AlphaQUp 0 Posted April 10, 2015 Have you tried to swap the known good cameras with the suspect ones at the DVR inputs? This will eliminate the possibility that the problem could be DVR inputs rather than the cameras... Thank you for the reply, sorry for my delay in following up. Yes, I tried swapping them at the DVR, same result. The "static" images moved from CH1,2 to CH3,

AlphaQUp 0 Posted April 14, 2015 Looks like the iris control is NFG! (stuck on open)... Gotcha. Any idea if this is something that can be addressed? I am tempted to open the cameras up and take a peek inside.

AlphaQUp 0 Posted April 16, 2015 Camera is difficult to fix without schematic. Easier to replace... Thank you. I am likely going to upgrade to a new DVR system alltogether. Cheers!
