Dahua NVR JPG URL

Is it possible to grab screenshots from a Dahua NVR? I want to use one as a webcam image and I've found that you can go directly to a camera using a link such as: http://IPADDRESS/cgi-bin/snapshot.cgi

 

However 3 of my 4 cams are using the built in NVR POE ports on the NVR 4108 and aren't directly accessible on the rest of the network (unless there is a way I haven't thought of).

 

I found some links on this page for the NVR but they don't seem to work: http://www.ispyconnect.com/man.aspx?n=Dahua

Isn't that always the way... I've answered my own question as soon as I posted.

 

This is the format:

Now that I can find the image I'm having trouble with the authentication. I'm using the following, but it makes me authenticate every time even though the user and password is in the URL.

 

http://192.168.1.108/cgi-bin/snapshot.cgi?channel=road?loginuse=login&loginpas=password

I have had same problem of authentication, i found a solution that doesn't require authentication for this.

 

http://192.168.1.108:9989/onvif/media_service/snapshot?channel=1&subtype=0
