Question on real time card..

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am planning a 16 camera system for my home.. I was going to get a 120 or 240 fps card but after thinking about it.. I'm mostly going to be using the system for what was that "bump in the night" type stuff.. And only the exterior camera will records probably no more than 2-3 at a time and most often only 1 at a time..

So, I think I may be better off to go with a 16port 30fps card and buy a realtime viewing card...

I'll also be using the system to monitor the camera views through the internet while away and also just while in the house... I have networked elo touch screens built into the walls that I want to be able to pull up a browser and view the cameras..

Anything flawed with this thinking or anything I may be missing?

Also that site turbocctv.com doesn't seem to sell the Real Time card, but I remember seeing them somewhere and seem to recall them being about $500.. Is this correct? Where can I get one at a good price?

Thanks for your input..\
