secplus 0 Posted April 29, 2015 Ok, this is what I got: Doctor practice with 8 locations and 500 employees. They want to put card access to the back door, with the capability of disarming the alarm for certain users, but not all. Job is simple, they have one back door, and currently some of the locations have a keypad that control access to the office, but is not logged, and everyone seems to know the code, to the extent that the last person to leave the building has to manually turn off power to the keypad to prevent anyone to come in after hours; the rest use a regular key, so in this case they deadbolt the door at night and open it in the morning. This is what they want: A Proximity card reader in each location, that will tie up to a panel, that in turn communicates thru the network to the control system computer in their main office, but for certain users, like the owners, doctors, and managers, to have the ability to disable the burglar alarm. I have advised them that most likely their panels will have to be switched out. So far, this is what my distributor has suggested: http://www.napcosecurity.com/gemaccess.html And now I'm asking you guys, what else is out there?
