CEB 0 Posted May 3, 2015 I am planing to buy a wired CCTV camera for my new home. The thiefs now-a-days are so smart that they even steal dvrs. They can even steal lock boxes or destroy the hard drive. I want to backup the footage in Real time while i'm away and at night(for free of course). Or an alternate solution. Most thieves do not streal dvr's..If you are paranoid, use ip cameras and record to the NVR (or pc NVR) as well as a NAS on location...Some systems allow you to ftp snapshots or video remotely... Start reading and learning about these systems BEFORE you buy...this way you wont be back complaining about poor function or image quality... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
